Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Consultant - Data Warehouse Tech Lead - St Louis, MO
At Enterprise Rent-A-Car I am a Data Warehouse Technical Lead assigned to build and
maintain processes written in Teradata, SAS DI and Informatica. Processes are built to
support and maintain the purchasing, leasing and selling of automotive vehicles.
Currently I am working on the following projects:
 Implementation of Franchises in France and Spain under the Global Enterprise
Brand
 Creating a Specialized Data Mart with Accounting Information for a large
Business Group within the Enterprise Organization
 Developing and Maintaining Extracts for a Third Party Vendor for Address

Express Scripts Inc. – Consultant - Data Warehouse Tech Lead - St Louis, MO
At Express Scripts I worked in several different roles. I was a part of or took the lead
role in over 100 project implementations.
Here are some of my work highlights and duties:
 Led teams of 2 – 5 Developers – Onshore and Offshore.
 Wrote Business and Technical Specifications for projects
 Created and maintained Informatica v9 Mappings and Workflows to move data
between ODS databases and files into the Data Warehouse.
 Developed complex SQL solution queries in Teradata and Oracle to resolve
production data issues and handle business requests.
 Performance Tuned batch applications using explains, indexing and partitioning
 Led Technical projects to merge information from past and recently acquired
companies such as Medco and Wellpoint
 Developed and Maintained a Member Eligibility System that had 4B records
 Maintained a Prescription Authorization Datamart with 500M records
 Supported Campaign Letter generation to build our Generic Drug business
 Helped win contracts from Business Clients, State Agencies and the Federal
Government
 Dealt directly with the Legal team for all lawsuit data requirements

The IT environment was a Linux/UNIX environment utilizing Informatica V9, Korn
Shell Scripting, C, Perl, Awk and SQL for ETL. Data was kept in three different

Wells Fargo Capital Markets - Data Warehouse Tech Lead - St Louis, MO
Lead large Capital Loan Enhancement projects for Wells Fargo Capital Markets. My
responsibilities included gathering requirements, preparing business and technical
specifications, leading developers, coding, preparing implementation documentation and
installing projects into production. I led over 20 successful projects from start to finish.
Both Information Systems and Business staff commented many times that my work was
exceptional and appreciated.
Some highlights while in this position included:
 Performed File Manipulation utilizing Unix Shell Scripting, AWK, SED and Perl
 Performance Tuned Processing using Database Tools such as Explains, Work
Tables and Indexing as well as Parallel Processing

Express Scripts, Inc. – Consultant - Data Warehouse Tech Lead - St Louis, MO
My main responsibility at Express Scripts was to oversee the conversion of a short term
Reporting effort into a stable, long-term Business Intelligence solution. This involved the
modeling, building and populating of a stable DB2 UDB Data Warehouse.
Some of my tasks included:
 Populated a new DB2 UDB Data Warehouse from an Oracle OLTP source
 Provided Supporting Data to Attract New Multi-Million Dollar Accounts
 Designed and Developed Executive Level Statistical Reports for 3 Major Drug
Manufacturers
 Created over 100 Complex SQL Queries for Testing and Validation of Patient

The technical environment was a Unix/Windows environment using DB2, Oracle and
Microsoft Access for Database Support and Business Objects as a Reporting Solution.

GMAC Insurance – Consultant – Data Warehouse Tech Lead - St Louis, MO
While at GMAC I designed and built a large Data Mart solution for Home, Auto and
Medical Insurance Claims from a set of about 100 existing batch reports.
My responsibilities included:
 Gathered Requirements for Writing Detailed Program Specifications
 Created Data Models
 Performed Data Transformations and Cleansing between ADABAS and DB2
 Performance Tuned DB2 Queries
The technical environment included a mix of Adabas/Natural, Cobol II, DB2, Oracle,
Mainframe and Windows NT. We used Erwin 4.1 for Logical and Physical Data
Modeling and the new Data Warehouse was built in a DB2 environment utilizing Cognos
for reporting support.

During my second consulting assignment at USDA I held key roles on several large
