Greetings!
Welcome back everyone from the holiday break! We hope that you all were
able to enjoy the holidays with your friends and family.

We also want to thank all the parents that were able to make conferences on
Monday, December 22nd. This was the first year that the teachers wanted to hold
conferences on a day that the preschool was closed. Our teachers were able to focus on
your child’s assessments exclusively during your meetings. We had a great turnout and will
continue this schedule for future conferences.
We have many wonderful changes that have occurred for the new year! First of all, a lot of
our children have moved up to new classrooms. We are here to help with your child’s
transitions. Secondly, our teachers have also moved to new positions as well! We have
Miss Cynthia and Miss Caitlin in our Peanut room, Miss Gina and Miss Shayla in our Acorns
classroom, Miss Callie in our Macadamia Nuts room, Miss Sunday in our Walnuts room,
Miss Carrissa in the Hazelnuts classroom, Miss Amanda in our Mixed Nuts classroom and
Miss Samone in the commons area for the Mixed Nuts II classroom! If you have any
questions about our new placements please don’t hesitate to ask.
Keep bundling up your little ones! We will continue to take them outside on a daily basis
as long as it is above 32 degrees. And who doesn’t enjoy playing in the snow?!

If we have inclement weather, please stay tuned to Channel 4 KOBtv. We will post
any closures or delays with them and we will change our voicemail to alert you as
well. Typically if APS closes or delays, we usually do. If we go on a delay we will
not have our Before Care program and will open at 9:00am.
