CZECH SERENADE
The Czech centered concert revolves around the visit of Violist, Jan Reznicek, and
Pianist, Eduard Spacil. These two prominent Czech musicians will be in Canada for this
specific event and will be premiering new contemporary classical works by Toronto
composers. This event is produced with the cooperation of the General Consulate of the
Czech Republic and the Nocturnes in the City Association.

BEETHOVEN THE GREAT
Ring in the Christmas season celebrating Beethoven the Great with the Oakham House
Choir of Ryerson University singing his Great Mass in C Minor accompanied by the
Toronto Sinfonietta orchestra. Joining in our homage will be a superb Beethoven
performance by pianist Anastasia Rizikov, winner of the Chopin Piano Competition,
Junior Division.

Fifth Gala Concert of Young Musicians
For the Fifth time, Toronto Sinfonietta invites the winners of our competition, young
soloists under the age of 19 to perform with the orchestra. The repertoire will include
unforgettable concertos of classical and early romantic composers played by our finest
young talents.
