LLSP students from both New York and Pleasantville traveled to cutting-edge Tokyo, historic Kyoto, and Osaka to engage in Corporate Visits (IBM Japan, Matshushita, Kikkoman, NEC, NTT, Panasonic, And Daikin), Meetings and Briefings (JETRO, International House Of Japan, Commerz Bank, Nippon Keidanren Int’l Cooperation Center, Goldman Sachs, And NUCB Students), and Context and Cultural Sites (Tokyo Stock Exchange, Takashimaya, Tsukiji Fish Market, Ginza, Yasaka Shinto Shrine, And Toji Buddhist Temple). See the website for pictures. MENTORING AND ADVISORY INITIATIVE We have arranged for Lubin Leaders to participate in a specially-enhanced mentoring and advisory program. Students will be matched with an alumni mentor who will a) provide leadership insights, b) offer information on career and field trends, and c) offer a half-day shadowing opportunity. In New York those interested should contact Maxine Sugarman at x1950 and identify themselves as LLSP students to arrange a personal planning meeting. In Pleasantville, students should contact Carol Dockery at x3361 to arrange a planning meeting. PROGRAM LITERATURE The new Lubin Leaders brochures have arrived and will be used to publicize our program as well as to recruit new students. Stop by Dr. Kessler’s or Dr. Winsted’s office to check it out.
