Bill Passed in Concurrence with Proposal of Amendment
H. 627.
House bill of the following title was read the third time and passed in
concurrence with proposal of amendment:
An act relating to the special environmental revolving fund.
Proposal of Amendment; Third Reading Ordered
H. 608.
Senator Collins, for the Committee on Transportation, to which was
referred House bill entitled:
An act relating to renewal of a junior operator’s license past age 18.
Reported recommending that the Senate propose to the House to amend the
bill in Sec. 1, 23 V.S.A. § 607(c), after the period, by adding the following:
Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law, a renewed junior operator's
license shall be issued without a photograph or imaged likeness. Any person
to whom a renewed junior operator's license has been issued shall, while
operating a motor vehicle, carry upon his or her person the last license issued
to him or her as well as the renewed license certificate.
And that the bill ought to pass in concurrence with such proposal of
amendment.
Thereupon, the bill was read the second time by title only pursuant to
Rule 43, the proposal of amendment was agreed to, and third reading of the bill
was ordered.
