COVERED: All activities included in the itinerary. Transportation to and from the Madrid airport. 40
hours of classes with professors from the prestigious Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM).
Residence in the UCM facilities (two twin beds per room with a private bathroom). Residency is located
within the safety of UCM campus. Three meals a day. Day trip to Toledo, time for daily afternoon
activities. Emergency Health insurance included. Optional one-week trip to Andalusia (the city from
which Christopher Columbus departed on his voyage to America) INCLUDING: Visit to the port anchored
replicas of the Santa Maria, Pinta and Niña vessels used by Colon. Visiting Granada, Cordoba, Seville,
Palos de Moguer, and the Alhambra. The Alhambra was the castle where Christopher Columbus and Queen
Isabella signed the contract to come to America and beyond!.

July 4 - 8 (Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.): College Classes, for high school students there
will be a half day football training camp + half day language school + evening
Madrid visits or free time
July 9 (Saturday): All day trip to Toledo
July 10 (Sunday): 10:00 a.m. guided visit to the Prado Museum or visit the Rastro (the
largest European pulguero/flea market) and 5:00 p.m. Optional visit to a Bullfight
Arena
July 11 - 15 (Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.): College Classes, for high school students
there will be a half day football training camp + half day language school + evening
Madrid visits or free time
July 16 (Saturday): Optional visit to Segovia OR at your leisure
July 17 (Sunday): Departure back home

• The Residencia Universitaria of Madrid provided with accommodation and three meals a day, with a vegetarian
option. Room service is twice a week. The prestigious professors from the Complutense University of Madrid will give
the classes. During the trip all students are expected to follow our rules of propriety of The Best Study Abroad conduct
XCL including: Respect to students and teachers, the dress code of decency, no smoking, no drugs or alcohol.
• It is your responsibility to register for the class, pay the air transportation. Pay class and tour before May15, 2016
• There will be four hours of lessons a day (Monday to Friday). The rest of the day can be used for sightseeing. The
dormitory is very well located ten minutes from the center of Madrid. We will send a letter of acceptance to the
program after receiving its first payment of US$ 1,500.00 that letter can be taken to the Embassy of Spain and get your
visa (if needed)!
• We expect perfect attendance to classes. High school students will be subjecti to dorm check in their rooms.
• What is included ?: Personal expenses, air transport, visits not specified in the itinerary or the visa (US citizens do
not need visas, others need to check with the Spanish consulate in your country or state). Everyone (including
American citizens) need a passport valid for more than six months to obtain the visa and entry to Spain.
• Method of payment US Dollars: Application- / US$ First payment due February 10, 2016: US$ 1,500 / Second
