Cougar 12.2.00 Maintenance Release Changes
1 Wildcat - General
1.1
Identify Different Loyalty Units in Floor View (SCR64009)
The EGMs on Loop window within Floor View has been modified to allow identification of
different loyalty units (wedge/gemini/vector) within an EGM.
1.2
EZYBreak Session List in Floor View (SCR62870)
A new window has been added to Floor View to allow the user to view active EZYBreak
sessions.
1.3
Voucher Details – Max e-pay support (SCR63328)
The Voucher Details window has been enhanced to support the Max e-pay product.
1.4
Cashier – Max e-pay support (SCR63333/63992)
Wildcat Cashier has been modified to support the Max e-pay product.
1.5
Random Member Draw Adding ‘0’ (SCR63419)
The Random Member Draw display was adding a zero to the end of a membership number.
This has been rectified.
1.6
Patron Details - Identifiers (SCR64055)
Within the Patron Wizard Accounts TAB the Patron Identifier and Account Identifier columns
have been widened to allow for the display of larger numbers.
1.7
Cashier – Ticket Number Entry (SCR64199)
Previously a user would be required to manually type a ticket number within Cashier to
Redeem Cancel or Unclaim a ticket. Cashier has been modified to auto-populate the ticket
number of the currently highlighted ticket when accessing those functions.
1.8
Floor View EZY Break Icon Missing (SCR64326)
Within the Floor View module of Wildcat the EZY Break button was missing an icon. This has
now been rectified.
1.9
Membership ID Allocation Error (SCR64335)
Within the New Patron wizard certain scenarios would create an error relating to Maximum
Membership ID. This has been rectified.
1.10
Patron Maintenance Crashing (SCR64864)
If Wildcat user interaction continued while a patron search was being performed this could
result in Wildcat crashing. This has been rectified.
1.11
Membership Renewal Fee changeable (SCR39032)
The membership fee displayed in the Renew Membership wizard had been modified to allow
the user to change the default value.
1.12
Wildcat Crash/Error 999 (SCR64964)
In the event that a large report is running and retrieving data from the database movement of
the mouse or the scroll bars within Wildcat could cause the application to crash. This has
been rectified.

Filter out ‘Default’ user for Maxe-pay Attendant Assignment (SCR65145)
Within the controls utilised to assign an Attendant to a payout voucher within Maxe-pay
functionality the ‘Default’ user has been filtered from the selection list.
1.14
Allow Assigned Attendant to be Unassigned (SCR65146)
Within the controls utilised to assign an Attendant to a payout voucher within Maxe-pay
functionality the user is now able to unassign an attendant from a voucher.
1.15
Disable Attendant Unassign function at Host (SCR65458)
The unassign function mentioned above has been disabled at the Host level.
Allow multiple ‘Swipe Card at Kiosk’ Barrel Draw promotions (SCR65875)
Due to past business rules relating to Barrel Draw printers a venue was limited to a single
‘Swipe Card at Kiosk’ Barrel Draw Promotion to be enabled at any particular time. This
restriction has now been removed inline with the Maxe-draw product offering.

Add EZY Break Funds Limit to Patron wizard (SCR65015)
The EZY Break Funds Limit has been added to the configuration options available in the EDIT
Patron wizard.

Quick Mode Redemption doubling Cancel Credit values (SCR66235)
If Cashier was in Quick Mode and Autoprint was turned off the automatic redemption process
would cause the cancelled credit value in some reports to be doubled for that transaction.
This has been rectified.
1.19
Incorrect Status for Excluded Members Renewal (SCR57975)
When an excluded member was renewed via Wildcat their status was being set to Active –
not their original exclusion status. This has been rectified.
1.20
Payout Vouchers not printing patron Name (SCR57628)
Due to some timing issues on occasion a voucher would be printed before the patron had
been linked in the database which resulted in the patron name not being printed. This has
now been rectified.
2 Wildcat – SIMPLAY
2.1
Site Access to ‘End Simplay’ option (SCR53328)
An ‘End Simply Session’ right click option had been offered within Floor View for Host users
to enable staff to end rogue Simplay sessions. This function has now also been made
available to site users.
2.2
Simplay Banking not rolling over when some days missing (SCR59977)
If a venue attempted to enter Simplay Bank Deposits data for a month that did not have
existing data for the entire month the Simplay Banking Accumulative Variance would then not
carry over to the next month. This has been rectified.
2.3
Simplay Bank Deposits – Inefficiencies (SCR63673)
The Simplay Bank Deposits window within Wildcat was taking too long to populate. This has
been rectified.

Manual ID Check – EZY Break Funds Misconfigured (SCR66264)
Within the Patron wizard - Simplay Tab the EZY Break Funds enabled/disabled state was
being incorrectly displayed during the Manual Identification process. This has been rectified.
2.5
Simplay Visitor Cards not expiring after 24 hours (SCR64406)
The system was incorrectly using the ‘business’ day rather than the ‘gaming’ day parameters
in determining when to expire Visitor cards. This has been rectified.
2.6
Deactivate Simplay while Allowing Withdrawals (SCR64865)
The system has been modified to allow a de-activated Simplay venue to continue to process
Simplay withdrawals for the purposes of refunding all patron balances.
2.7
Recent CBG Transaction Display Inaccurate (SCR65059)
The Recent CBG Transaction display within Patron Maintenance is limited to the last 24 hours
and a total of 99 transactions. In the event that there were more than 99 transactions for a
patron in the last 24 hours the oldest transactions were being displayed and the most recent
transactions were not. This has been rectified.
3 Wildcat - Reports
3.1
Members Birthday Report Error (SCR61654)
When the Members Birthday report returned more than 32,000 rows it would cause an error.
This has been rectified.
3.2
Hopper Variance Report (SCR63265)
The Hopper Variance report previously created an extra row for an EGM for a position, game
or denomination change causing confusion. This report has been modified so that there is
always only a single row per EGM.
3.3
Points to Age Report Crashing (SCR64144)
If the Points to Age report was run against a venue with a large number of patrons (e.g.
15,000 plus) it would display memory issues and crash Wildcat. This has been rectified.
3.4
Promotion Voucher Reports (SCR64273)
With the introduction of the Virtual Barrel Draw Winners report the Promotion Voucher reports
were inadvertently restricted to reporting on Virtual Barrel Draws only (the Promotion
selection was being limited to Virtual Barrel Draw Promotions). This has been rectified.
The Promotion Voucher by Member report has also has email and mobile added.
3.5
Membership Reports (SCR64318)
There were discrepancies within the Membership reports relating to identifying and counting
both Renewed and New Members. This has been rectified and all of the following reports now
use standard identification and counting methods:

4 System Changes - Simplay
4.1
Cougar CAT Component not Deleting NVRAM (SCR63159)
The CAT component was not finalising and deleting Simplay sessions from NVRAM causing
occasional Simplay session issues. This has been rectified.
4.2
Simplay Inactive Accounts (SCR64106)
Previously inactive accounts were identified by using the ‘last validated datetime’ on the
account. If an account had never been validated then these accounts could be missed when
they become inactive. The process has been modified to use different criteria to identify
inactive accounts.
4.3
Simplay/EZYBreak Session not closing (SCR56600)
If a Simplay Session was active, then an EZY Break session also started and the Simplay
card removed the Attendant clear would clear the EZY Break session but not the Simplay
session. This has now been rectified.
4.4
Simplay Double Payment Failing (SCR64966)
A rare issue occurs when a Cancel credit occurs immediately following a Simplay draw up
resulting in additional payout. Changes have been made to the system to manage this
scenario.
4.5
Simplay Deposits not Validated (SCR64888)
Improvements to the system have been implemented to validate each Simplay Deposit
against EGM and Simplay Session information.
5 System Changes – General
5.1
Identify Different Loyalty Units in Floor View (SCR60603)
The system has been modified to offer support for the identification of different loyalty units
within Wildcat (wedge/gemini/vector).
5.2
Points Difference between Wildcat, Gemini and Kiosk (SCR62154)
On occasion a patron’s points balance would be reported differently between Wildcat the
Kiosk and Gemini Units. This was caused by old cards being held in cache by the PAD
component. This has been rectified by flushing the cache before any card activity occurs.
5.3
Virtual Barrel Draw Ticket Purging (SCR62979)
Changes have been made to ensure that Virtual Barrel Draw tickets remain in the system for
the required amount of time.
5.4
System Changes to support Max e-pay (SCR63418/SCR63550/63551/
63552)
The system has been enhanced to support the Max e-pay product.
5.5
System Changes to support EZYBreak Session Display in Wildcat
(SCR64004)
The system has been enhanced to support the display of EZYBreak session information
within Wildcat.

Floor Controller Ignoring Pools at the Host (SCR65887)
A change made to the Floor Controller caused the Host Floor Controller to ignore all Host
centric jackpot pools. This has now been rectified.
5.7
Loyalty Point Purge Failing (SCR64979)
Due to various performance issues the Point Purge facility was occasionally failing. This has
now been rectified.
5.8
Loyalty Point Ageing Performance Improvements (SCR64986)
Due to various performance issues the Point Ageing facility was occasionally falling behind.
This has now been rectified.
6 Host Only Changes
6.1
Simplay at Group Sites (SCR61690)
Previously if a Group site had Simplay enabled via Wildcat then all of the group’s member
sites would automatically have Simplay enabled also. This has been modified so that group
sites and their members can be disabled/enabled independently.
6.2
Database Schema and Wildcat Unload changes – Max e-pay (SCR63331)
The database schema and Wildcat Unload process have been enhanced to support the Max
e-pay product.
6.3
Security Information at Host (SCR63371)
The EXP component has been modified to provide extra efficiencies in saving site security
information at the Host for unload purposes.
6.4
Configure When Dial Up WAB’s Connect to Host (SCR63561)
WAB’s were previously set to dial up at 6AM. This has now been made configurable.
6.5
Host Voucher Redemption Disabled (SCR66310)
With the Maxe-pay product enabled the Host voucher redemption function within Cashier was
inadvertently disabled. This has been rectified.
6.6
Barrel Draw Winners Data Unload (SCR64589)
In the event that there were 2 or more barrel draw winners tickets with the same date and
time the Host unload process would fail. This has been rectified.
6.7
Enable Simplay function crashing Wildcat (SCR63864)
In some cases Wildcat would crash when trying to enable a large venue from Host Wildcat.
This was due to memory issues and has been rectified.
6.8
Disable Old Wildcat Versions (SCR65173)
In order to disable older version of Wildcat changes have been made to the system to allow
host users to disable Wildcat versions older than 12.2 as required.
6.9
Log Report Usage to Database (SCR65363)
Modifications have been made to the system to log the usage of Wildcat reports for analysis
purposes.

Remove ‘Attending’ message from EGM on Cancel (SCR65780)
An EGM will display an ‘Attendant on their way…’ message when a payout voucher is
assigned to an Attendant within Wildcat/Cashier or the Maxe-pay application. This message
will now be removed from the EGM if the associated voucher is cancelled or the Attendant is
unassigned.

Unable to Unload large SImplay Venues (SCR66218)
The unload process was failing on venues with large CBG Audit data repositories. The unload
process has been modified to only unload the last 12 months of CBG Audit data.
6.12
Report Unload Errors On Screen (SCR58385)
If any errors are encountered during the unload process the errors are displayed on screen to
the Host user.
‘Clear EGM’ option added to Site Manager (SCR62028)
In some circumstances an EGM would display a venue as closed when the venue was
opened to to the storage of old messages. An option has been added to Site Manager to
allow a Host user to clear this situation.

Simplay Adjustments over Cash Payout Limit (SCR64903)
In some circumstances when an adjustment was performed on a Simplay account above the
Cash Payout Limit value the accounts available cash balance figure would be inaccurate. This
has now been rectified.
