JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Opening Crew Pharmacist
Job Functions:
Under the supervision of the store manager or the store supervisor, the Pharmacist administer all
prescriptions received by the store, in the maintenance of records required by the pharmacy law and the
food and drugs administrations; and in the safekeeping of all prohibited and restricted drugs.
Duties and Responsiblities












Checks and oversees all incoming prescription properly.
Files and records all prescriptions received.
Gives information on the current restrictions or requirements conceiving dispensation of prohibited and
regulated drugs.
Take charge of ordering all galenical and pharmaceutical items.
Repacks liquid, powder and other chemical items.
Takes charge of CIO in the RX section.
Cleans prescription area shelves stocks there in.
Attends to Food and Drug Administration representatives.
Updates entries on the following books: Poison book, Prescription book, Opium and Dangerous drug book.
Sees to the insurances of a prescription counter receipt for every incoming prescription.
Sees to it that all dangerous drugs are properly kept and locked at all items.
Does other related duties w/c the store manager or the store supervisor may assign from time to time.
