REVIEW: TYPES OF EARNING
SELF-EMPLOYED: work for yourself rather than for an employer (often work on contract)
PIECEWORK: you are paid a set rate for an amount produced
COMMISSION: percentage paid for a business transaction (sale of goods)
CONTRACT: legal agreement outlines terms, conditions and payments for work to be done.
Often a schedule of payments payment at each stage of a job as it is completed.

uses the point system below, where each point
represents $16.00. A carpenter must
calculate the points value of his work, then
invoice the company he works for.
