I am addressing to your company in order to offer my freelancer translation
services. I have a degree of Translation and Interpretation by the Universitat de Vic,
Barcelona, Spain. I am specialized in legal translation and my title of official legal
translator is in proceedings. In October I will begin a postgraduate in legal translation.
I have worked as translator, proofreader and spelling checker since my second
year at the University, which brought me a previous experience during my education in
the University. I have performed various specialities translation projects, from which I
must underline administrative, medical, technical and legal translations, in addition to
some dubbing translations.
I work from my office and I have the proper means to carry out the projects
effectively and correctly, and also to deliver them both by ordinary mail and by
electronic mail.
I am specialized in German, English, Spanish and Catalan languages. My mother
tongue languages are Spanish and Catalan. Prior to the performance of a project we
must agree a budget or a price, depending on the language, speciality, delivering date,
original's volume, etc., and according to our interests, both in the case of the direct
clients and the agencies. All the translations are meticulously supervised and corrected
before being delivered and I certify that the information contained in all the documents
will be kept in full confidentiality.

These are guiding prices (it must be added the corresponding value-added tax,
VAT). From these parameters different extra charges and discounts can be
considered, which will be dealt with the client, according to the frequency of
projects, emergency, format, volume or size, etc.

It is understood as specialized text the one which deal subjects with medical,
legal, economic, informatics, automotive, chemical, technical, etc. concerns and
terminology.

These rates correspond to direct clients, in the case of the agencies, then the
prices will be argued with the corresponding agency according to the interests,
both the translator and the agency.

