How should the student report absence if they are ill? LEARNING REQUIREMENTS OF THE STUDENT The student’s practice is primarily assessed against the Professional Capabilities framework. However, it should be borne in mind that student’s practice should also meet the HCPC Standards of Proficiency (as mapped against the PCF) and they should adhere to the HCPC guidance conduct and ethics for students at all times. Note: Final placement students should have had the opportunity to work in two different settings with two different user groups before they qualify. They should also have had experience of statutory requirements and legal interventions and inter professional work. University Placemen Tutors should check that these requirements can be fulfilled for final year students before proceeding with the placement.
