I joined the petroleum industry in 1979, after the university and the Navy. From Geology to drilling operations, I have today 35 years’ experience and more than 50% Offshore with Jackup, semis, boat, barge or jacket, in West
Africa, North sea, far east or USA. 30% onshore from helirigs in the jungle to the desert area, single operations to dual drilling and Simops. 20% at the office, from coordinator to base manager, performance engineer to superintendent. I supervised upto 200-250 people (Simops) and controlled the operation cost up to 390K$/day.
