Request to the City of Stockholm to host a reception at Stockholm’s City Hall
Dear Mr Andersson,
The International Conference Imaging 2003 will take place in Stockholm, June 24-27, 2003.
The Conference, which is organised by the Royal Institute of Technology, is a triennial
event, first held in July, 2000 in Stockholm. The scope of the conference is different types of
electronic detectors for imaging, in science as well as industry and medicine. Our main
sponsor is the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. For further information, I would like to
refer to the Conference Website, http://www.nuclear.kth.se/imaging2003/index.htm. It might
be of interest that we have three Nobel Prize winners serving on our international advisory
committee. Imaging 2003 is expected to host 200-250 participants from around the world.
Apart from the academic programme, there will be exhibitions by companies working with
related equipment.
On behalf of the organising committee for Imaging 2003, I would hereby respectfully like to
request that the City of Stockholm act as host at a lunch reception to be given at Stockholm
City Hall, Wednesday, 25 of June 2003. I would greatly appreciate your considering this
request and letting us know your decision as soon as possible.
