The Chartered Strategic Management Practitioners (CSMP) is developed, branded
and promoted by Strategic Business School (SBS) as a special Continuous
Professional Development Programmes for the benefits of members and
Practitioners of reputable Chartered Professional Institutes.
SBS will collaborate with reputable Chartered Institutes in the field of Management
to customize, co-brand and jointly promote the CSMP Scheme among the institutes
members and management practitioners.
The collaboration will involve the joint assessment of qualified members and
practitioners on four practical criteria:
1. How the members have developed as managers and/or leaders over a minimum
number of years.
2. How they have applied their knowledge and skills to managing resources,
leading teams, managing projects, solving problems, managing changes,
managing people, competition and how these contributed to improvements in
the sustainable performance of their organization, over the past three to five
years.
3. What they learnt from their experiences and achievements as managers and
leaders.
4. How the members plan to continue to develop their professional knowledge,
skills and to achieve more in the future.
 SBS and the Collaborating Institute will constitute a Charter Assessment
Committee (CAC) that will be responsible for determining the assessment
criteria, conducting all the Charter Assessment Submission Exercises (CASE)
and presenting the successful candidates to the Institute for the Awards of
Chartered Strategic Management Practitioners Status.
 The partnering institute on receiving the master list of successfully assessed
candidates then prepares the various Charter Status Certificates to be
presented to the Awardees at a quarterly/half yearly CPD/Charter Award
Lecture/ Dinner.
 The CPD/Charter Award Lecture/Dinner is an exclusive, action learning,
experience sharing sessions, delivered by successful and renowned top scholars
and leaders in that management discipline. Thus this will serve as a special
