Example: One of my favourite singers is Michael Jackson.( Slide+his song) I like his songs because they are full of energy and very melodic. In the morning I turn on my player, listen Michael Jackson and do morning exercises. I also like the way he danced. I’d like to tell you a few words about his childhood. There were 10 children in Michael’s family. They lived in a small four room house. Michael sang in public for the first time when he was 5. Their band was called Jackson 5 and it became popular when the family moved to Detroit. Michael was 8 at that time. Since that time he had always been in the public eye. There were times when he came home and he only had time to put out his books and get ready for the studio. He often sang until late at night. We don’t know much about his personal life because Michael avoided publicity. He was very shy and as he himself said, in the crowd he was afraid, on stage he was safe. He would sleep on stage if he could. Michael Jackson is also known for his childish tastes. It’s not a secret that his favourite hero was Peter Pan. Michael had been called “the child who never grew up”. But I think that he was a grownup who was never allowed to be a child. 2) The presentation of the English song “Nothing Else Matters” playing the guitar ( Rostyslav, Vladyslav). III. The concluding part of the lesson. 1. Summing up H1. So, we’ve seen that music plays the great role in our life: it helps us doing everyday activities; expresses our emotions, rises up our mood when we’re sad; refreshes our body and soul when we’re tired and exhausted. H2. Music makes us sing and dance, cry and laugh. It’s the unlimited world created at first by nature and then by inspiration of composers and musicians. T. Did you enjoy our lesson? Was it interesting for you? What did you like? Ps. We liked interesting tasks and songs and new useful information about music and dances. T. Let’s sing the last song for today about friendship “It’s a Small World”.(Track 4) Slide It’s a Small World It’s a world of laughter, a world of tears; It’s a world of hopes and a world of fears There’s so much that we share, That it’s time we’re aware It’s a small world after all. It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, It’s a small, small world. There is just one moon, and a golden sun, And a smile means friendship to everyone Though the mountains divide And the oceans are wide. It’s a small world after all. 2. Marks 3. Home task . Write the composition about the role of music in your life.
