All the underlined members above are appointed by the British Conference to the WMC for the
quinnquenium 2011-2016. A new constitution was agreed at the meeting in Durban and there is
no longer an Executive Committee of the WMC from which to appoint the members of the World
Methodist Committee. Therefore, until a new standing order is approved it is asked that these
people constitute the membership of the committee.
Chair of the Youth and Young Adults Committee of WMC: Mrs Christy-Anna Errington
Christy-Anna attended the International Young Leaders Seminar In Durban prior to the meeting of
the WMC and was elected for nomination to this post by the Youth delegates there. Her name
will be brought to British Conference 2012 for membership of the WMC.
Note: Revd John Barrett, Ms Ruby Beech and Mrs Christy-Anna Errington are members of the
newly created steering committee of the WMC as formulated under the new WMC constitution
approved in Durban.
A report from the World Methodist Committee will be brought to the January meeting of Council.

Cornwall. She is involved with the promotion of Christian literature, and
is a former Ecumenical Accompanier in Palestine and Israel. Dr
Burroughs brings to this appointment good communication and
interpersonal skills, commitment and imagination.

Sue Male (21)

Methodists and Jews. Sue has also organised a series of public events at
her church across the range of interfaith relations issues.

a Non Executive Director of the North Lincolnshire Primary Care trust. He
has worked in management roles in technology firms for over 20 years.
He is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Directors.

David Musgrave (21)
presbyter in the Coventry and Nuneaton Circuit where he has been
involved in a range of interfaith relations activities. In his previous career
in the diplomatic service he held senior posts in Embassies in several
countries including Nigeria where he was engaged in the Muslim
Christian encounter.
