Entrepreneurial Practices for a Business Project
Entrepreneurial Practices for a Business Project
Successful entrepreneurs will demonstrate a combination of some practices within a
core set consisted of situation insights, conceptualizing, calculated potentiality,
proactiveness, resourcefulness, innovativeness, impact articulation, and actualizing
potentiality. These entrepreneurial practices help them to grasp the new ventures and
navigate through uncertainties and surprises, as well as to maximize the extrinsic and
intrinsic satisfaction.
The sharing will be around cases from social, business and public sectors. The first
one is the application of the practices in the startup of a social enterprise venture
including conceptualizing the business, resourcefulness and actualizing stakeholders.
The second one is the application of the practices in the China Business Growth
Project of a multinational corporation, highlighting competitive
insights, innovativeness in value proposition, and Proactiveness as strategic
maneuver. The last case is how the practices can be applied in a government policy
implementation, especially on how to manage PR risk through impact
articulation from the beginning.
