US-Ohio-Cincinnati-Demand Planner
Senco Products, Inc., a leading international manufacturer and marketer of Fastening
Solutions for the industrial and construction markets, has an opportunity for a Demand
Planner in our Business Planning Group.
Responsibilities: Individual will be responsible for setting-up initial forecast
parameters and monitoring and editing these parameters as needed to meet changing
business needs. Manage forecast accuracy by diagnosing issues, reviewing with
appropriate teams and assisting in the development of action plans to increase accuracy.
Conduct and communicate insight analysis to help maximize sales for future season.
Serve as the demand forecast expert to end-users by troubleshooting forecast and
functional issues and will also serve as IT liaison to address Demand Forecast system
issues and modifications. Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for
inventory optimization.
Requirements: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or
related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3-5 years of analysis experience.
Must have a thorough understanding of MRP, inventory management, replenishment
buying, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization. Excellent communication skills
and interpersonal skills required. Experience with Demand Solutions software preferred.
