Printing Allocation:
The iprint product allows you to print from a pre-determined allocation, or “purse” assigned to
you each semester. As an on campus apartment resident, you have been provided with an
allocation of $5 for the fall semester. You will also receive another $5 allocation for the spring
semester. Your allocation does not roll over from one semester to another. This allocation is
separate from the iPrint allocation you are given as a UB student each semester.
Adding the Campus Living Computers (Printing from your Res Hall room or UB
Apartment):
You will need a Window XP or Windows 7 computer connected to RESNET or UB Secure wireless.
1) Click the start menu and in the Search bar type \\cl-print.urh.buffalo.edu
(Note: for WindowsXP Choose Start - > Run)
2) When prompted enter your UBIT name proceeded by ad\ and password to connect to
CL-Print
3) Select the printer(s), right click and choose ‘Connect…’ to add it to your computer:
4) Select the appropriate iprint printer from cl-print on your PC when printing a document. Once
printed, the document will then reside on the release station in the location of the printer. You
will need to go to the release station and sign-on to print your document.
