Art appreciation – CD covers Students are to bring in their favourite CD cover from home. They complete a Worksheet comparing and discussing the differences. 1 period. Introduction to CD Design Assignment Design brief – to design a CD cover that will be sold to Muslim people whom are interested in Islamic songs. It must include all necessary representations that all CD covers include. It must have a front and back page 12cm x 12cm to fit a CD case for display. Students research images and ideas that can be used on the cover. Print out and record in sketchbook. Students follow ZOOM EFFECT tutorial for Photoshop 7.0 to use as background on CD. Students use images and text researched to present a CD cover for Islamic Songs.
