Off: 11:00am. Teams: $2000 per foursome, $1800 if paid by May 1, 2009. . . The 2009 Pro
Players Golf Classic will be held at Timarron Country Club in Southlake, Texas. Event
registration and the gift salon will open at 9:00 am with a shotgun start at 11:00 am. Each
foursome will be paired with a celebrity athlete for the day and all golfers will receive a golf gift
collection. Lunch will be provided and a buffet dinner, auction, and awards presentation in the

IV is a former NFL offensive lineman who played for the San Diego Chargers, the Dallas
Cowboys, the Minnesota Vikings, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles. Most
notably, he was with Dallas for their 1992 and 1993 seasons, helping the Cowboys win the 1993
and 1994 Super Bowls. He died in his sleep in late 2008 at the age of 40.. . Frank was very active
in the Southlake community and volunteered much of his time to various city and school district
endeavors. Frank served on the Pro Players Foundation Player’s Council since the
organization’s inception. He also served on the board of the Carroll Education Foundation
for several years. Frank was on the City of Southlake Parks and Recreation Board for four years
and the Zoning Board of Adjustment for three years. The City of Southlake recently renamed a
park in Southlake Town Square in honor of him.. . Frank is survived by his wife, Robin, and five
children. Proceeds from the golf classic will go towards an educational fund for the Cornish

be held at Timarron Golf Course in Southlake, Texas. This championship course was designed
by the legendary Byron Nelson. The course has preserved the natural beauty of the landscape
with its rolling topography, wooded terrain, and the winding Big Bear Creek. . . . Timarron was

. . In memory of. . Frank Cornish . . . Foundation History. . . The Pro Players Foundation (the
Foundation or PPF) was formed in early 2007 by a group of former professional athletes along
with business and community leaders. The driving force behind this effort was the desire to help
Officer Robert Hodges, a decorated Southlake police officer. Hodges was battling inoperable
brain cancer and he and his family faced mounting costs associated with his treatment. PPF,
through a series of fundraising events including a golf classic and a charity poker tournament,
was able to provide Officer Hodges and his family with needed financial assistance. PPF
continued to respond to requests for financial aid and by year end 2007 had distributed over
$80,000 to help victims of catastrophic illness or injury and their families.. . In 2008 the
foundation continued its efforts and distributed in excess of $160,000 in grant monies. The 2008
golf classic benefited Kelly Williams, a Carroll ISD high school teacher that was diagnosed with
Stage 4 cancer. Funds from the tournament also went to Southlake police officer and fireman Jeff
Vogel’s daughter, who suffers from Trisomy 9. . . The Foundation consists of a local
operating board, a Player’s Council, and an Advisory Board. The Player’s Council
consists of current and former professional athletes from a variety of sports including Craig
Ludwig (NHL), Jose Guzman (MLB), Michael Kiselak (NFL) and Chris Klein (MLS). The
Advisory Board consists of several prominent business leaders such as Darcy Anderson, CPO
and VP, Perot Systems Corporation, Jeff Cogen, President, Dallas Stars, and Joe DePinto,

supports the Foundation by fundraising, serving as advocates and public relation representatives,
