Alex Vey (Co-Director, New World Order) Alex Vey is a sophomore from Hixon, Tennessee majoring in International Affairs and Political Science. In addition to model UN where he is a second year team member, Alex is also involved with the Mock Trial club at UGA. Outside of scholastic pursuits he enjoys playing guitar. Anuj Shukla (Director, General Assembly 3rd) Anuj Shukla, a third year from Memphis, Tennessee, is pursuing a degree in cell biology with the hopes of starting a career in medicine. This is his second year on the team. Outside of model UN, Anuj is an avid soccer fan. Ashton Moss (Assistant Director Palestinian Peace Process Ashton Moss is a freshman from Atlanta, Georgia majoring in International Affairs. He plans to focus on Arab-Israeli issues and has a particular interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Outside of school, he enjoys golfing, writing poetry, and listening to music. Bobby Rosenbleeth (Co-Director, General Assembly 2nd) Bobby Rosenbleeth is a senior international affairs and economics major from Sandy Springs, Georgia. In addition to Model UN, Bobby is on the executive board of the Roosevelt Institute at UGA, a nonpartisan studentrun public policy think tank. Bobby is also the policy editor of the Journal for Undergraduate Research Opportunities at UGA. Following graduation, Bobby will join the investment banking analyst program at Barclays Capital in New York. Brian Underwood (Assistant Director, G-20) Brian Underwood is a first year student from Evans, GA and is majoring in History and Political Science. Post graduation, he hopes to become a constitutional attorney for the Department of Justice. Beyond Model UN, Brian is an active member of the Objectivist Club, the Young Americans for Liberty, and the Oglethorpe Ave. Church of Christ. In his free time, he likes catching up on politics and playing his piano and guitar Brielle Terbeek (Assistant Director, General Assembly 3rd) Brielle Terbeek is a sophomore from Tyrone, Georgia. She is majoring in International Affairs, and is a second year team member. Brielle’s academic focus is on international humanitarian issues. Charles Ford (Director, Palestinian Peace Process) Charles Ford is a senior from Lawrenceville, GA majoring in International Affairs, Religion, and Arabic. This is his third year working with UGAMUNC and is also involved with a number of other activities at UGA including the Center for International Trade and Security, the Roosevelt Institute, International Public Service and Outreach, Anthropology Society, and Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities, among others. Christian Conroy (Director General Assembly 1st) Christian Conroy, a sophomore from Roswell, Ga, is double majoring in political science and international affairs. In addition to the UGA Model UN team, Christian is involved with UGA Rotaract, the School of International and Public Affairs Advisory Council, and Sigma Nu fraternity. When Christian is not increasing his chances at a successful career, he enjoys horseback riding, investment banking, and harvesting grapes from his own vineyard. His greatest temptation is dark chocolate, and he has seen the Princess Diaries more times than he can count. Christian is currently sailing his boat around the French Riviera while working on his latest novel, "You Know I'm a Dreamer" David Liddle (Co-Director UNEP) David Liddle is a third year Biochemsitry and Molecular Biology major from Kingston, Ontario, also the hometown of famous pop singer Avril Lavigne. This is his second year on the Model United Nations team. Aside from Model UN, David works in a research lab studying neural stem cells and serves as the Chair of Unite for Sight, a student organization that promotes eye health both locally and abroad. He is also a frequent runner and participates in many local road races throughout the year. Jennifer Cross (Assistant Director, General Assembly 1st) Jennifer Cross is a freshman from Roswell, Georgia majoring in international affairs. A first year team member, Jennifer was actively involved in model UN throughout high school. She also participates on the University of Georgia Women’s Rugby team and is a member of the Creswell Dormitory Community Council. Katherine Garcia (UGAMUNC Staff) Katherine Garcia is History and Political Science double major from Augusta, Georgia. She has participated in Model UN for two years in high school and is beyond excited to continue being a member of the team in college. Outside of Model UN, Katherine is a member of the Roosevelt Institute, Pi Beta Phi Sorority, and plays the violin. In her spare time, I enjoy reading, being outside, photography, and playing Ultimate. Kinan Lagast (Assistant Director UNSC) Kinan Lagast is an International Affairs and History major. Originally, from Belgium, he has lived in the Marietta Georgia area for the past 13 years. He is an avid water skier and is an active member of the UGA water ski team. Melanie Ramey (Assistant Director General Assembly 6th) Melanie is a sophomore majoring in Anthropology and Comparative Literature with a minor in Spanish. In addition to Model UN, where she is a second year team member, Melanie is the secretary of The Cancer Effect and rides horses competitively. She is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. Nate Edwards (Director UNSC) Nathaniel T. Edwards is a fourth-year at the University of Georgia. He is double-majoring in International Affairs and Political Science with a focus on East Asian affairs, as well as pursuing a minor in Japanese. He has studied in both Japan and China, and Pacific regions. Outside of MUN, Nate is active in the UGA Chapter of the Roosevelt Institution and the Center for International Trade and Security as a student research intern. After completing his bachelor's degree, He plans to pursue a Master's degree in nonproliferation and counterterrorism studies. Nate also enjoys climbing and bouldering, hiking, and has studied Okinawan Kenpo where he has achieved black-belt status Patrick Leonard (Director, General Assembly 6th) Patrick Leonard is a fourth-year Risk Management and Insurance major at The University of Georgia from Roswell, Georgia. This is his third year on the Model United Nations team at UGA as well as my third time chairing the GA-6 committee. Patrick is also very active on campus with Greek Life, having served as President of his chapter, Phi Delta Theta, for two terms. Peter Liddle (UGAMUNC Staff) Peter Lidde, a native of Kingston, Ontario, is a junior majoring in Journalism and Business. Like his brother, David, Peter is also actively involved with Unite for Sight at the University. Additionally, Peter participates in Intramural Volleyball as well as a number of other IM activities. Ryan Williams (UGAMUNC Staff) Ryan Williams is a second year Honors student at UGA double majoring in Broadcast News and Political Science. He hails from Thomaston, Georgia, where his parents and younger triplet siblings still reside. In addition to Model UN, he is actively involved in GTV, a student-run television organization that produces television programs that are then broadcast on Channel 12 in the Athens area. Seth Wilson (UGAMUNC Staff) Seth Wilson is a Sports Management and International Affairs double major with a concentration in Intelligence and Security. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Seth is actively involved in University Athletics where he is a Student Manager for the Women's Basketball Team and an Offensive Coordinator for the Athens Oilers, a 9 & 10 year-old Youth Football Team. This is Seth’s first year on the team, and he looks forward to bringing everyone a great UGAMUNC experience Stephanie Fishman (UGAMUNC Staff) Stephanie Fishman, a self-proclaimed “ proud Cowboys and Mavericks fan,” is a second year student from Dallas, Texas. She is double majoring in International Affairs with an emphasis in security studies and Arabic, and minoring in Spanish. She is also a member and banner chair of the sorority Sigma Delta Tau. This is her first year on the team. In the future, Stephanie plans to obtain her masters in Security studies and hopes to become a polyglot. Tyler Martin (Co-Director General Assembly 2nd) Tyler Martin is a third year from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, majoring in Finance and Economics. He is involved with Relay for Life, the Clarke County Mentor Network, and the Institute for Leadership Advancement. Tyler is an enormous Braves and Bulldawgs fan and be frequently found enthusiastically cheering on his favorite teams.
