The Durham Catholic District School Board is located just east of Toronto and is renowned for providing comprehensive Catholic education to over 21,150 students in 40 elementary schools, 7 secondary schools, and 6 continuing and alternative education centers throughout Durham Region.
DCDSB is adding Occasional Teachers to our Occasional Teacher Roster and we invite qualified teachers to apply. Interested applicants must hold Certification in good standing from the Ontario
College of Teachers and the following basic qualifications:
Primary/Junior and/or
Junior/Intermediate and/or
Intermediate/Senior

Cover letter and resume;
Copy of Certificate of Qualification/Interim Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario
College of Teachers (in good standing);
Pastoral Reference Letter o Pastoral Reference Letter (Archdiocese of Toronto) ;
Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector suitable to the Board (within six months);
Practicum Teaching reports;
Recent Teaching evaluations (if an experienced teacher).
Occasional Teacher interviews will be scheduled between March - June 2016.
