Before joining the UWB faculty, he taught corporate finance at Georgia State University where he received two GTA awards for teaching excellence. During the summer months he worked at Harvard Summer School teaching investment and managerial finance. Ince consulted with firms in electric utilities industry on deregulation and restructuring related issues and engaged in executive education in domestic and international settings. His area of research is corporate finance with a focus in financial risk management and derivatives use. Having a mechanical engineering background, he worked in the emerging field of financial engineering and is a member of International Association of Financial Engineers. Ince is also an active member of American Finance Association and Financial Management Association.
