American Power Conversion joins the HEC Foundation
Issy-les Moulineaux, 10th May 2006 – The American Power Conversion (APC) has signed a
partnership agreement with the HEC Foundation, with which it will become an active member.
HEC and APC share common values of research and innovation.
For APC, education is a priority. In fact, several years ago the company launched the Data Center
University, a global education program aimed at informing the market on the issues of physical security
in information systems. The agreement will reinforce this initiative by involving HEC students.
American Power Conversion will thus contribute, through its membership in the HEC Foundation, to
strategic decisions made by HEC Paris concerning teaching and research and will bring its knowledge
and expertise of the management and development of activities on a global level.
Additionally, APC will equip HEC with its IT infrastructure solutions, therefore guaranteeing students
and HEC partners high access to critical data and to the HEC knowledge database.
