(20 min) EXPLAIN: “Battle of the Bugs: Fighting Antibacterial Resistance” article (10 min) ELABORATE: Introduce performance assessment (PSA about Antibacterial Resistance) followed by project worktime (15 min) EXPLORE: Antibiotic Resistance PSA research (15 min) EXPLAIN: Show students a few sample Antibacterial Resistance PSAs (5 min) ELABORATE: PSA filming – students will use their research and technology to create a 1 minute video (20 min) EXPLORE: Video – Understanding Bacteria (15 min) EXPLAIN: Class discussion over bacteria and how bacteria can cause disease (7 min) ELABORATE: Introduce Like or Dislike project.
