Question: 2 Whether the MOD and MV will make a statement on the matter of appointed consultants during the FY2010/11? Response: The Department of Defence and Military Veterans have constantly received qualified audits in the years prior to 2009. Since the appointment of the new administration the Ministry has placed emphasis on zero qualifications on Asset Management, Stock verification, total clearance of Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) – especially in areas that are ready for the DoD to transfer land to communities - and the clearance of audit qualifications. The result of this effort is an improved audit status of the Department. RESTRICTED
