I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Nyandarua Institute of Science and
Technology to pursue a Diploma / Certificate course in

Registration will be done at the Institute between 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Nyandarua Institute of Science and Technology will strive to equip you with skills that will help
you for the rest of your life. To achieve this you must be self disciplined, devoted, focused and
hardworking in both formal and informal Curriculum offered at the Institute. Let the Institute
motto “BEACON OF DEVELOPMENT” evoke the desire, commitment and determination to
help you achieve what is expected of you as a student of this Institute throughout your course.
May I also inform you of the following Institute requirements.
1. BOARDING FACILITIES
The Institute will provide you with a bed only and you should bring your mattress, beddings and
other personal effects. Boarding facilities are limited and available on first come first served
basis upon payment of full Institute fees. Those who miss boarding facilities at the Institute are
advised to seek accommodation elsewhere in the nearby privately owned Hostels.
2. BRING WITH YOU THE FOLLOWING
a) This admission letter.
b) A medical certificate from a government / recognized hospital
c) Four passport size photographs.
d) Original and two photocopies of:
KCSE certificate / results slip

National ID card

Secondary School leaving certificate.

Birth certificate.
e) Two blankets
f) A pair of bed sheets
g) Bed cover – pink background
h) A mattress
i) One bucket
j) Your own writing materials.
k) A cup, spoon and a plate for own use.
l) Games kit
m) Course textbooks and stationery as per attached Departmental list.
n) Other personal effects.
NB
Industrial attachment is compulsory for all Diploma and Craft courses at a fee of Ksh2000 per
attachment which is payable one term before attachment begins.
3. INSTITUTE RULES
The institute will provide you with a set of Rules and Regulation which you must sign to indicate
your readiness to comply with the requirements therein.
