HSC examinations
The 2009 HSC written examinations will commence
on Tuesday, 20 October 2009
– this is two days after the end of the October school
holidays
There are 28 teaching weeks till the HSC – taking out public holidays AND the
Trial Exams. Therefore, we have approximately 26 weeks to teach, assess
and learn this course – schools have an extra 10 weeks to prepare!!! This is
the hardest year of study but the rewards are high if you apply yourself.
NOTE: If you are only studying the Preliminary course you will have to
stay until the end of May. If you have studied the Preliminary course
you are advised to do the exercises in order to get you writing but you
do not have to hand them in unless you want feedback
