HSCSN Mental Health Providers,
We are providing notification of an important update regarding mental health services for
HSCSN enrollees.
Effective immediately we will no longer require authorization for mental health services
provided by in network providers. These services include psychiatric evaluation, substance
abuse evaluation, medication management, therapy (individual, group, and family) therapy
services.
We are requesting all mental health providers to submit a behavioral health treatment plan or
outpatient treatment report to the assigned Care Manager for care coordination purposes. Please
forward your plan/report to the Care Manager as soon as possible after initiating services and
every six months thereafter.
