The earth was without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (there are 3 levels of heavens… sky, universe, heaven) Day 1: God created light, and separated light from darkness, Day from Night Day 2: God created a firmament to separate the waters (source of rain from water below)– He called it Heaven (sky) Day 3: God created dry land (ground) and gathered the waters into once place- the Seas, He also created the grass, plants and trees. Day 4: God created the sun and the moon, and the stars, to give light to the earth, and to mark seasons, days and years. Day 5: God created every living creature from the seas, and every winged bird Day 6: God created every animal that lives on the earth. God also created man and woman- Adam and eve. Day 7: God ended His work and rested, and sanctified the 7th Day. God makes Adam and Eve The Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. And God said that it’s not good that man should be alone. God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and He took one of his ribs, and from it He made Eve. The garden of Eden The Garden where God put Adam, and from the ground God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, as well as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There was also a river that went out of the garden to water it, and from there it parted and became four riverheads; Pishpm, Gihon, Hiddekel, Euphrates. Adam and Eve are tempted The Lord put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. He said to Adam “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” Serpent deceives Eve, she eats of the tree and gives of it to Adam who also eats. “when the woman saw that it was pleasant to the eyes” The eyes of both were opened and they knew they were naked. Cain and Abel Cain worked in the field (tiller of ground) while Abel was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord, and Abel also brought of the FIRSTBORN of his flock and their fat. And the Lord respected Abel’s offering, but not Cain’s. And Cain became very angry, but God told him if you do well, you would be accepted. Cain then killed his brother, Abel. So God told Cain that he would wander on the earth like a fugitive. And when Cain said to God that his punishment is too great for Him, God said that whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold, and God set a mark on Cain, lest anyone should kill him. Enoch Jared (descendant of Seth (Adam’s son) ) had a son named Enoch. Enoch walked with God for 300 years and had sons and daughters. Enoch was then taken up by God (He did not die). ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ Lesson application ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ Homework ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly report Personal notes # of kids : Atten. : Commun.
