About SUT
Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) is located in Nakhon Ratchasima Province,
Thailand. It was founded as Thailand’s first public autonomous university in 1990. The
University has served as a prototype of the autonomous state university and as a mentor who
shares experiences concerning new types of operations and administrative systems with many
organizations. SUT is now offering 27 undergraduate and 27 graduate programs in
Engineering, Sciences, Health Sciences, Agricultural and Social Sciences.
Surasammanakhan: Surasammanakhan, SUT’s hotel and convention center, offers a
comprehensive range of facilities for meetings and conferences. It features a 400-seat
capacity auditorium, eight 50-seat capacity seminar rooms and 123 guestrooms. All rooms
are air-conditioned and fully furnished.
About Nakhon Ratchasima
The city of Nakhon Ratchasima, populary known as Korat, is located 250 kilometers to the
Northeast of Bangkok. It is a busy merchant town and the gateway to the Northeast of
Thailand. Attractions of Korat include the spectacular Khmer stone sanctuary of Prasart Hin
Pimai, the Dan Kwian ceramic pottery village and the Khao Yai National Park containing one
of the last remaining tracts of intact moist evergreen forest of Pakchong District.
