Begin to present Companion Animal Projects.
Thursday:
Finish remaining Companion Animal Project presentations; begin to watch “Field Trip – Fish
Hatcher”; and define the Chapter 17 Terms.
Friday:
Correct the Chapter 17 Terms; finish watching “Field Trip – Fish Hatchery”; begin Chapter 17
reading and discussion; and answer part 1 of the Chapter 17 True/False and Multiple Choice
Questions.
Block 3: Agribusiness
Monday:
Present Entrepreneur Projects and begin to discuss marketing alternatives and the advantages
and disadvantages of each.
Tuesday:
Most students are gone today – work day for the few remaining.
Wednesday:
Finish marketing alternatives discussion; read “Marketing Basics”; complete Commodity
Marketing Student Pages 1 and 2 and Basis Worksheets 1 and 2.
Thursday:
Correct Basis Tables #1 and #2; finish the “Commodity Marketing Basics” notes; finish the
Marketing Basics assignments; and complete Marketing Transactions and Hedging
Assignments.
Friday:
Correct the Marketing Transactions and Hedging Assignments and begin the “Getting to Know
the Futures and Options on Futures” Terms Assignment.
Block 4: Intro to Agriscience
Monday:
Correct the Parliamentary Procedure Activities 1, 2 and 3 and practice using main motions and
amendments.
Tuesday:
Complete the Parliamentary Procedure Terms/Definitions Assignment and Table of Motions;
make flash cards for Motions; and type the FFA Creed.
Wednesday:
Correct the Parliamentary Procedure Terms/Definitions Assignment and Table of Motions; learn
to use Point of Order and Refer to a Committee; and study motions flash cards.
Thursday:
Practice Point of Order and Refer to a Committee; learn to use Lay on Table and Take from the
Table; and study flash cards.
Friday:
Practice Lay on Table and Take from the Table; study flash cards; write and practice reciting
paragraph 1 of the Creed.
