This Module was specifically developed as an Add-in to all the Applications such as
DWMS, CBSS where the Data has to be moved to an Archival Database on Specific Intervals. Purging is a
process of moving unwanted/old data from Live Database to an archival database, in order to improve the
performance of the system and systematic moving of old data from live database to a structurally Identical
archival database, so that the data can be easily available and retrievable from the archival database.
The Process included:
1. IDENTIFY THE PARAMETERS FOR PURGING
2. IDENTIFY THE DATA FOR PURGING
3. CREATE PURGE DATABASE
4. MARK THE DATA FOR PURGING
5. PURGE THE DATA
This Activity is being done every Week End on Live Database. All the Procedures for the Purging have
been developed in Oracle. Specialized reports have been created to access the purged data.

Description:
This system was specifically designed for Engineering stores, which is used for
maintaining engineering equipments for a production plant. The Engg Stores come under Plant
Maintenance deptt. All the engineering material required in the production plant is procured and issued
under the engineering stores.
This system has following modules.

Purchase Orders Updation from MFG-Pro (E.R.P)

Material receipt from vendors/suppliers

Inventory Management

Online ordering of items from the shop floor (using Web Application)

Issue of material from the stores.
This application takes care of all the functionality mentioned above. It has been implemented with MFG-Pro
(telnet based ERP) using encoded text files.

My Role:
Design and Development of a generic database server with a specific Instruction Set.
Description:
this system was basically designed for the wireless Pocket PC devices, which could
execute highly complex database operations on the server side.
The communication between the socket client and the socket server is through a specific port through
Winsock Control. Here the data has also been converted to a specific instruction set structure and passed
through the socket. The server receives the data to be acted upon and then it sends back the result data.
Queue for the incomplete commands was also set up. If the command is not acknowledged then the client
retries 2 more times.

As the name suggests this system is basically a WMS i.e. a Warehouse Management
System. In the warehouse management system, there are 3 basic procedures.

Material Receipt (procurement) from factory/supplier.

Material Binning (to put the material into bin locations in a warehouse)


I had joined a team of five during the final stages of development of SMASH, wherein my job was to make
the system transactionally secure (using COM+). I have also designed and developed components such
as form customization for the users at runtime, Automatic DSN Checker, Customized Excel conversion, and
a generic Report Designer which have been implemented in the SMASH.
This Product has been integrated with SAP R/3.

Description:
This system has been purely designed for Pest Management Professionals. The software
has taken care of all business rules, accounting and payroll management regarding the pest control
industry. Such as scheduling of the jobs, contract maintenance, accounting, job routing and reports such as
pending payments, daily services, client history, Pie Charts for Chemical Consumption, Accounts etc.
Extensive Reporting has been done. This product has been successfully installed over 30 locations in
Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Chandigarh.

Description: This system can be regarded as Mini-ERP. We have implemented the basic rules of an ERP.
The System has a Multi-User Environment where all the departments in the company can work
simultaneously using the shared SQL Server Database from the server. Departments such as
MARKETING, PURCHASE, DESIGN, STORES, ACCOUNTS and PRODUCTION have been interrelated.
e.g. a work order is raised by the marketing department, then the related designs/BOM are made by Design
Engineer, then the Purchase manager makes a purchase order from the BOM, the material is received in
the Stores, then Quality Control is done , then it is send to Production Dept , after the production is
complete then the control goes to Accounts dept where the work order is settled.
3 levels of security have been accomplished.
Extensive research had to be done while taking the requirement specifications from the client.

This system was designed for a renowned health club in Thane. The scope of the system
starts with the enquiry from a visitor till the end of the membership. There are different membership offers
such as monthly, quarterly, and yearly with a different fee structure

installment reminder etc.
