The basis of the scholarship is to honor a female high school
student who “makes a difference” in the lives of others

If you are planning on majoring in education you are eligible
to apply for the scholarship. An application, two essays,
three references, and a sealed copy of your official transcript

Senior planning to attend a four-year college in South
Carolina and planning to pursue a career in education. Must
demonstrate leadership abilities, good academic record, and
have financial need. Must maintain a 3.0 GPR in college.

throughout the state will be selected. The participants must
have a 2.5 GPA and be recommended by an instructor.
This scholarship is open to an enrolling female college
freshman planning to major in education. Only one
application will be accepted from each school. Applications

Senior who has completed 4 units in their career major, must
have at least a 90 in major classes, good discipline record,
good citizenship, and leadership. Need 2 letters of
recommendation. Must travel to Greenville June 25 to be
awarded. Will receive US Savings Bond and plaque.
Must be at least 14 and at least in the 8th grade. Must have at
least a “C” average, have in interest in health care, and get

$1,000, Association of Black Educations awards scholarships
to students majoring in education pursuing teaching. Must

Milliken and Wofford College host a summer institute on
team-building, problem solving and leadership skills for rising
seniors. Must be in top 15%, have leadership skills and have
an interest in the manufacturing industry.
For rising seniors, leadership program featuring sessions with

This scholarship is for hearing impaired students. If you are
hearing impaired and use speech as your primary form of
communication you are eligible for the scholarship. The
criteria is academic performance, development of an essay,
reference letters, and personal and professional goals.

To receive this scholarship you must take 9 to 15 credit hours
a semester. Recipients must also commit to staying in the
child-care field for at least one year after earning degree.
$500, must be a relative of a South Carolina American Legion
member. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial
need and academic achievement.
