Registered Nurses (Band 5) Full-time on internal rotation – Salary £20,882 - £26,972 –Enhanced Rates also payable
Wirral Hospice St John’s is a Specialist Palliative Care Unit providing services including an Inpatient area and fast developing
Outpatient and Day Therapy services.
Our objectives align to the national priorities In Palliative and End of Life Care are to strive to maintain and develop quality of
services. Our objectives specifically are to continue to maintain and improve quality of services to ensure patients and their
families receive a positive experience. Currently we are developing our services to enable care for patients and families to
be closer to home, a key healthcare initiative extending the provision of specialist palliative care to patients across the Wirral.
To support our continually developing service we have an opportunity for you to come and join our multi-professional team.
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, and a proven
record of providing excellent nursing care to our patients and their families both within the Hospice and patient’s homes
across Wirral.
We are also keen to add to our existing team of bank nurses to work both within the Hospice and patient’s homes across
Wirral. The successful candidates must be able to offer availability for at least one shift per week.
We are confident that these roles represent excellent career development for suitably qualified nurses with a broad range of
nursing expertise, including acute/community areas of work or those newly qualified nurses with a special interest in palliative
care.
