N/A End User N/A End User Reseller / End User Reseller End User Cindercone End User 1. The XML Pre-Installation form must be returned to us before any Installation dates can be assigned to the project. The XML requirements of the End User identified on this form may indicate that additional work is required that needs additional chargeable work. This may need to be quoted for and completed before the project can be progressed. 2. The link to the Internet (or direct connect to the trading partner) needs to be discussed in conjunction with the XML Mapping / Delivery product being used. A simple modem dialup connection to a free to use ISP (i.e. Freeserve) should be enough for most requirements. 3. The Cindercone Consultant will test the XML connection and will run any test transmissions with the initial Trading Partners. It is very important that we arrange to receive test data from each of the prospective Trading Partners prior to installation. 4. If the user is placing their XML Delivery product on a system separate to their Sage software, then an automatic file transfer mechanism needs to be supplied. This may just be mapped drives but if PC-UNIX links are required various FOC products exist i.e. Samba or FTP. But the End user needs to ensure that a supported solution is used. 5. The EDI/XML Integration modules should be placed on site by the Reseller in advance of our site visit. The passwords should be entered and the modules tested by running the EDI system key program in each module. The End User should prepare any look up data prior to the visit i.e. Product Codes and Customer Location codes. If these can be sent, in a spreadsheet, in advance, then we may be able to build the necessary tables. 6. If the user is planning to send XML Invoices to their customers then they must now inform the VAT Office of their intentions. Cindercone can supply a template letter which can be amended with the companies details and sent.
