USR Electronic Systems Chooses Valor’s DFM Solution for
Better Customer Service
USR will offer its customers vPlan-based DFM services
Yavne, Israel – <Date> – Valor Computerized Systems Ltd, a global provider of productivityenhancing software solutions for the electronics industry, has been selected by USR
Electronic Systems to provide vPlan – Valor’s next-generation, enterprise-level process
engineering software solution for electronics assembly.
USR is the largest contract manufacturer in Israel, serving customers such as GE
HealthCare, RAD-Bynet, Verint, RadWare and many others. The company has chosen to
implement the latest version of vPlan – v1.2, including newly released functionalities such as
workflows and Gerber Component Extraction.
With the purchase of vPlan, USR will also be offering its customers DFM Services using
Valor’s best-in-class DFM technology, enhanced through the use of Valor’s Part Library
(VPL) service – a massive repository containing accurate geometric data of more than 35
Million components.

vPlan synchronizes process engineering in an easy to use package. It is a single solution
that delivers a complete, seamless engineering process from CAD to machine, covering
SMT, Through Hole Technology and manual assembly. It also delivers complete
comprehensive and synchronized Manufacturing Process Definitions (MPD) to the
production floor, and automatically generates machine specific libraries on demand
(registered patent).
