I designed, implemented and maintained the complete LAN/WAN for Paktel Limited connecting its offices in more than twenty different cities of Pakistan. This network includes LANs in each of Paktel's offices containing 3COM hubs and switches, connected together by WAN using 3COM and CISCO routers, NewBridge MUXs, PTC Optical Fiber links and Cylink/DTS radio links. This network has SCO UNIX, AIX, SUN Solaris, Novell Netware 4.1 and NT servers in it communicating using TCP/IP and IPX protocols. 3- Router and Switch Configurations Paktel’s complete LAN/WAN setup was done by me, so I am well versed with 3COM and CISCO switch and router configurations for IP and IPX. I have used a variety of 3COM and Cisco hubs and switches in network implementations. 4- Management Experience Worked as Manager Support in Saigol Computers, managing first level support for Islamabad clients and second level support country-wide with a team of ten engineers. Managed computerization of first ten branches of UNION Bank, which included cabling, installation and support to these branches countrywide.
