Over the last 6 months, I had the opportunity of writing proposals for large organizations in various
industries. The idea for this section is to show my ability to understand new business and
technologies enough to form a point of view in a short period of time. Given below is a sample

This proposal was to re-platform an existing .com B2C site for
a large retailer. They have an existing .com site that is
homegrown and is not able to support the growth that their
business teams want to accomplish. Key challenges here were
accounting for pieces that could be salvaged, interfacing with
13 vendors and completing this project before 2008 holiday
season.

This proposal was for a client in the high availability business.
They wanted to launch new software that will help companies
better maintain the availability of their systems. This effort
included estimating vendor evaluation (for hosting and license
management) and developing a small 10 page site integrating
with their existing B2B in a very short period

This was for a client that is big in creating hardware tools for
home and business use. They are in the process of creating
global platform for all their divisions. They are facing quality
and code issues in their current effort and this proposal
involved estimating and planning an evaluation of the work
done thus far and recommending the next steps

This proposal was for a big healthcare provider who wants to
launch an organ transplant portal for patients, doctors and
insurance companies. Such a solution is aimed at making the
transplant experience easier than what it has been in the past
where people have to go to different sites to collect
information. The key challenge in this proposal was to make
the site look and function so good that it encourages new
people to register and in turn increase the number of patients
that want to get their organ transplanted by that provider

This proposal was created for a large insurance company.
They have many systems that a insurance agent needs to go
through in order to successfully do his job. The proposed
system will act as a knowledge management system and
make it easier for them to find documents / policies etc.
