Task 1: Application
Ecco in Horsens has decided to employ a shop assistant. You have just finished your education at
Learnmark Horsens, and decide to apply for the following position by writing an application in
English.

willing to do your best to always achieve a perfect result? If so, you are the one we are looking for
at ECCO.
Ecco is looking for shop assistant to undertake costumer service. You will be working alongside
experienced staff to get the proper job training. You will be handling customer service and other
sales tasks.
The suitable candidate will need to be well organized, keen to learn, service minded, possess
excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. Other skills required are good
language skills, a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Task 3: Advertisement
One of your colleagues would like your help to make an advertisement suitable to be shown in
social media such as Facebook or Twitter. The ad is part of the marketing campaign for the spring
collection.
At the exam:
 Present your advertisement for Ecco
 Explain your choice of colours and graphic elements
 Explain which social media you think should be used to show the ad
 Present your target group for the ad and give reasons for your choice
 Explain how you have used the AIDA model.

Task 4: E-mail - Invitation
Ecco has previously had great success in inviting their shop assistants from other countries to
Denmark to show them shops here.
You are asked to write an email in which you invite the shop assistants from London for a two-day
stay in Horsens. In the email you give details about the purpose of the visit, where they will be
staying, as well as other details you may find important.

Task 5: Programme - Horsens
You are asked to help make a programme for the London shop assistants’ two-day stay in Horsens.
They would like to spend some time at the shop but would also like to do some sightseeing in
Horsens.
You are therefore asked to:
 Make a two-day programme. The programme should include details about where to stay,
places to eat and at least three sights in Horsens

Task 7: Individual project
You have now been working at Ecco for some time. Your colleagues at Ecco know you have
worked with an individual project at Learnmark Horsens. They are very interested in hearing about
it and ask you to present your project at the next staff meeting
