The South African Flameproof Association will be holding its 2015 symposium on 29 October
2015 at Khaya iBhubesi in the Free State. An awards dinner will also be held on 28 October
2015 to honour and acknowledge those who have contributed exceptional service to the
industry.
The aim of this year’s symposium is to share information and knowledge regarding explosion
prevention and the theme of this year’s symposium is;
HazEx Compliance in the Interest of Safety
You will appreciate that arranging a symposium such as SAFA involves substantial costs and
therefore the SAFA will once again be calling on its members and supporters to sponsor items
at the symposium and awards dinner to assist SAFA in making the 2015 symposium an
