Operations Manual (part one) How to use the EFIS-737 on FSX simulator. (You should have SIOC 3.52b version) 1. First of all, you should download file “EFISFsx.zip para FSX”. You can do it there: http://www.iocpserver.net/index.php?title=Descargas:SIOC . Just unpack the EFIS_SIOC.ssi and rename it to sioc.ssi. Then copy this file to your SIOC 3.52b folder (replacing an old sioc.ssi. i can give you advice that always better to make backup of this file). 2. Download there http://www.iocpserver.net/index.php?title=Descargas:%C3%8Dndice file “IOCPServer para FSX”. Open it in WinRar and double click on setup.exe. Install it. (NEVER CHANGE THE PLACE TO INSTALL FILES. IT SHOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE: D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules ). 3. Open sioc.ini file in your SIOC 3.52b folder. Change current MASTER line to: “MASTER = 1,7,1,1” (without the quotes, in the [************** IOCards ***************] block). Next replace all the lines after [************** IOCP CLIENTS MODULES***************] to: [************** IOCP CLIENTS MODULES***************] IOCPini_delay=3000 IOCPclient0_disable=No IOCPclient0_host=localhost IOCPclient0_port=8090 IOCPclient1_disable=Yes IOCPclient1_host=localhost IOCPclient1_port=8099 4. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\Application Data\Microsoft \FSX or C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft \FSX for Windows Vista ©. Open file "dll.xml" via the notepad and add this code before the line </ SimBase.Document> : <Launch.Addon> <Name>IOCP DLL</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>.\Modules\iocp4fsx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> Save your changes and close the notepad. 5. Open D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\iocp4fsx.ini and change “TCPPort=8080” to “TCPPort=8090”. 6. Launch sioc.exe from your IOCPserver (SIOC 3.52b) folder. 7. Let’s see what comes out . When you’ll open the FSX, there will be an unlocking (to give permission FSX to connect to our IOCPserver 3.52b) pop-up window. Click Allow to continue. Choose your plane and start game. 8. Now let’s check if all is OK. Open in Internet Explorer http://127.0.0.1:8080/ page. See the IOCPServer page? Yes? Congratulations! Now you can use your EFIS!!!!! No? Don’t be disappointed! Check if the 8090 and 8080 ports aren’t busy by other applications. If it don’t help, try to make 1-8 steps one-by-one over again. Any questions?
