Implemented Behavior Based Safety program which reduced On-the-Job-Injury (OJI) rates and aircraft damage.

ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION TEAM LEADER Appointed as liaison between the Investigating Authority and Boeing. As part of the Boeing Air Safety Investigation team, involved in all major Boeing accident investigations during this time.
Worked on nine different field investigations resulting in significant design and procedural changes.
Developed an advanced accident investigation training session for presentation at the FAA training academy
Created a course on basic accident investigation for both employees and airlines.
Designed course that taught basic safety program management to airline managers, safety officers and government officials. Program was translated into Chinese, Russian and Spanish and presented more than 70 times to over 2000 people. (1993 to 1997).
Developed and managed a three year, $1.1 million dollar effort to improve airline safety in China. Taught the
Safety Program Model to airline and government officials. Organized and conducted on-site safety audits at all 40+ airlines in China and set up an internship program for Chinese safety officers to travel and work with existing and effective safety departments at international airlines. (1993 to 1996).
Created concept and wrote script for a video which demonstrated the goals and processes associated with a safety program. Intended for distribution at the employee level, the video dramatized an unplanned event in airline operations and offered a situation resolution. Video was incorporated into training programs worldwide. (1995)
Created and oversaw airline-style flight safety program for Boeing Flight Test pilots and engineers. Expanded to include all the Company’s training pilots. (1992 to 1997).
