TOPICS COVERED
“To prepare God’s people for works of
service so that the body of Christ may be
built up.” Ephesians 4:12
Bishop Malcolm Harding recently completed
over 5 years of travel across Canada as the
ARM Ambassador, visiting 150 parishes. He
says there is a critical need for better-trained
leaders in the Anglican Church and that ARM
leadership Training Institutes are an essential
part of meeting this need.
The goal of ARM leadership training is to
equip many Christian leaders so that clergy
and lay leaders become teams to prayerfully
lead parishes into renewal and grow in the
gifts of the Holy Spirit. These leaders should
also be available to assist other parishes to
move into renewal.
The Biblical principles of leadership
The development of a Godly vision for the
local community
The dynamics of leading a parish into
renewal
 Equipping disciples
 The empowering and gifting of the Holy
Spirit
 Servant leadership and servant character
LEADERSHIP TEAM
FORMAT OF THE INSTITUTE

will provide teaching, small group sharing,

full gifts of leadership given by the Holy
Spirit. There will be a high team-to

UPCOMING LEADERSHIP TRAINING
EVENTS
WHO SHOULD COME?
This is a training event especially designed
for Anglican laity, including wardens, lay
readers, and other parish leaders, to assist
them in their calling to renew the local,
regional, diocesan and national church. It
also targets those who provide Christian
leadership in other ministries.
All
participants should believe that they are
called as leaders to bring the renewing power
and presence of the Holy Spirit to Christ’s
church and His world
LAY LEADERSHIP TRAINING
INSTITUTE
Please watch for detailed information in
Anglicans for Renewal, published quarterly by
ARM Canada to encourage and support renewal
in the Anglican Church. The yearly subscription
cost is $15 or $30 for four copies mailed to the
same address.
ARM would like to open this excellent program
to as many lay people as possible. If several
clergy who have attended an LTI would like to
hold a local LTI for one or more parishes, ARM
will provide a leader for a local LTI. It can be
held in a church hall with visitors billeted and
locally prepared meals. The length of the
Institute can be four full days down to a Friday
night-Sunday night weekend. The program for
the event will be reduced to the length of time
available. This arrangement will reduce costs to
local expenses including meals, plus the expenses
of the ARM leader and a contribution to ARM.
For further information, please contact the ARM
Office.
