WE WILL BE COLLECTING TOYS FOR
“TOYS FOR TOTS”
(NEW AND UNWRAPPED ONLY, PLEASE)
THERE IS ALSO A FEW FAMILIES THAT ARE PART OF OUR CSIHS FAMILY
THAT I WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT SOME ITEMS FOR.
THEY SPECIFICALLY INCLUDE: GIRLS 2, 3 & 6 AND BOYS 1, 2, 3, 9, 11 & 12. PLEASE HELP PUT A SMILE ON
THEIR FACES AND DONATE ANY ITEM YOU CAN AFFORD. WE WILL BE COLLECTING FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE
IN BOXES WITHIN MS. LENTINI’S AND MS. GOODHEART’S OFFICE.
FOR THE CSIHS FAMILY I WILL ALSO ACCEPT ANY COATS OR GENTLY USED CLOTHING ITEMS THAT YOU
MIGHT BE DISCARDING.
WE ALL KNOW THAT CLEANING OUT YOUR CLOSETS TO MAKE ROOM FOR SOME NEW
ITEMS IS A GREAT THING TO DO BEFORE THE HOLIDAY ARRIVES. PLEASE BRING IN ANY
GENTLY USED COATS IN ALL SIZES SO THAT I CAN GET THEM TO THOSE IN NEED BEFORE
THE WEATHER STARTS GETTING DROPPING.
Just a note on the above items. While we were collecting for the Sandy victims we noticed that there were
very few items that were brought in for the young teen age group. I know that it is very easy to pick up a
toddler toy but try to keep in mind some items that we can distribute to the teenager. They have great
items in Five Below, hat and gloves, ear buds, nail polish kits etc. Thank you in advance for the great
donations you have given us in the past and I know will continue to do so.
