June 17, 2006
The Pittsburgh Savoyards Board of Trustees consists of 11 elected members and up to three nonvoting appointed members. The elected members serve in two year terms that alternate years, Five
positions one year, and Six positions the next, and are elected at the Annual Membership Meeting by
the general membership. Following the election of the BOT members, the President and Vice President
are elected from the BOT members by the general membership. This year, there will be FIVE (5) BOT
terms that are up for regular election, and TWO (2) that must be filled for half of the term due to
unexpected vacancies.
The general membership elects the BOT members, and then from the group of 11 elected BOT.

Seven (7) Board of Trustees positions will be elected for the 68th season. FIVE for two (2) year
terms, and TWO for (1) year terms.
There are eight candidates on the ballot for these positions, and Write-in candidates are also
permitted, provided that they are full paid members in good standing and agree to serve if elected. The
seven highest vote recipients will be elected, provided that they accept the position.

Therefore, if either or both are among those elected, they will serve the one year terms. The other five
two-year positions will go to the five highest vote receivers, other than Pete or Robin. If neither Pete
nor Robin is among the seven top vote receivers, then the top five vote receivers will serve the two year
terms and the 6th and 7th highest vote receivers will serve for one year terms.

membership requirements. Following the election of the BOT members, a second election will be held
for President and Vice President from among the qualified BOT members that are willing to serve. For
