Macbeth Vocabulary Review
Directions: As review for this week’s vocabulary test, choose one of the topics below to
write a paragraph using at least ten of this week’s words (or forms of the words). Extra
credit will be given for additional word used (2 points per additional word) and/or if it is
typed (5 points extra credit). You should underline the vocabulary words in your
paragraph.
Topic choices:
1. Summarize Act I of Macbeth
2. Write a journal entry for Macbeth regarding the events of Act I
3. Create an additional scene for Act I composed of a dialogue between
the witches
4. Compose an additional internal monologue showing the inner
thoughts of one of the characters in Act I
