1 Introduced by Council Member Love: 2 3 4 RESOLUTION 2015-217 5 A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND CELEBRATING THE 6 LIFETIME 7 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ACHIEVEMENTS OF PRESTON HASKELL; 8 9 WHEREAS, in the shadows of magnificent buildings is the 10 creative, inspiring mind of a gifted master/builder who transforms 11 design and blueprint into works of lasting beauty; and 12 WHEREAS, throughout his professional life, Preston Haskell 13 has been at the helm of a company whose architects, engineers and 14 contractors 15 mortar; 16 projects that the Haskell Company erects throughout the country 17 embody beauty and utility for the present and for posterity; and 18 erect the WHEREAS, structures commercial and that are far industrial more design than and brick and construction in 2015, as the Haskell Company proudly celebrates 19 its 50th Anniversary as one of the nation’s premier construction 20 companies, we in Jacksonville proudly celebrate the extraordinary 21 life and professional achievements of the Haskell Company’s founder 22 and Chairman, Preston H.
