Section III—Using Social Networking Sites for Investigation Purposes/Due diligence research: With an estimated 500 social networking sites available on the Internet, this presentation will cover how to access these sites, how to profile the usernames, email addresses or names of subject to pull information off these sites. We will discuss ways to find information on “private” sites. It is a thorough ‘how to’ presentation showing the step by step procedures in conducting due diligence research, internet profiling and intelligence /counter intelligence in the most productive and fact finding way. This 8 hour class will provide in depth researching techniques utilizing online and open sources informational databases located on the web to determine informational sources providing “hidden” information on a subject’s web presence from public records, criminal records and social networking profiles. Further learning how to examine and understand the collective information found covering all aspects of personal/business information, due diligence research, intellectual property information and terrorism research. Information is pulled from numerous surface and deep web search engines and further explores how to protect your own information.
